Dear Fiddler Development Team,

You colleagues from Smart-Soft here. We use FiddlerCore as part of out software - Traffic Inspector.

We have encountered an error with Fiddler software. It goes as follows:

Uncaught Exception in Session #7095 - Fiddler has encountered an unexpected problem.
If you believe this is a bug in Fiddler, please copy this message by hitting CTRL+C,
and submit a bug report at http://www.telerik.com/forums/fiddler.  Reference does not point to the object instance.

Type: System.NullReferenceException Source: FiddlerCore    в Fiddler.ServerChatter.()    в Fiddler.Session.??()
 в Fiddler.ServerChatter.??()    в Fiddler.Session.??()    в Fiddler.Session.??(Object )   Fiddler v3.0.2.916 (x64 AMD64)
[.NET 4.0.30319.42000 on Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0]

So, what may be the problem?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Sorry about the late reply.

Is this a problem with Fiddler or with FIddlerCore?

Hello,

It is FiddlerCore - a library used in our software.

Hello,

Are you actually using  Fiddler v3.0.2.916 ? When did you get this one? Is updating to latest version an option?

The latest version includes .pdb files. Since what you are using is really old I am not quite sure it has .pdbs. Either case we need the .pdb file in the same folder where FiddlerCore.dll is at the time when the exception happens. That will give us more info.
