I've been programming web applications with datagrids since 2004, developing (or, attempting to) my own extensions to datagrids, and modal popups over the course of the next decade in .NET 1.1, 2.0, then 4.5. Telerik came along via another application we use and develop for. Since then, I've found Telerik controls much easier to use than trying to finagle .NET controls. Another reason being many browsers stopped supporting modal windows. Telerik made it much easier to have inline modal windows. Sure, there may be some hiccups (I've seen plenty of posts from years ago about such) and sometimes unclear demos (comments would be nice to say what code changes or is required by what), but there's always workarounds, searching Google, and making unit test pages. I've already created an intranet application based solely on Telerik controls (AJAX UI for .NET). So, thanks again for a great product!

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you very much for your trust in us!

I was so excited to read your kind words about your superior and positive experience with the AJAX product so I messed the things up and provided a wrong answer to this one. Please excuse me for that! I deleted my wrong reply here, but anyway you'll receive it as an email. Please disregard it.

I have good news that we continue the development of Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX by adding new components and highly demanded features from the backlog, by also providing bug fixes and support for the latest browsers versions and accessibility trends. Yet another positive thing is that we started to improve the documentation by revamping and adding code samples to the not so well rated articles and even the most popular and highly rated ones to make them even better and well explained. We also created a Knowledge base section directly into the documentation so that Google can crawl the articles in it much faster and rank them higher. You can expect new KB articles on a weekly basis.

Once again thank you for your valuable feedback and kind words. Please do not hesitate to use our tools, online resources and services when you need assistance!

Regards,
Rumen
