Hi Ola,
David Harris
the Telerik team
By default TeamPulse creates an iteration at the root level named "Project", which all other iterations are a child of. This iteration is not removable, and should always exist. You should be able to see this iteration at the root level when viewing the Area and Iteration Manager overlay (accessible on the ribbon via the Requirements tab).
What action are you taking within TeamPulse that results in this error? Can you please attach a screenshot or error log of this error when you encounter it?

Hi,
There is a root level named "Accelerator" after my project name, is the name supposed to be "Project" or the name of the project?
The error occurs when I create a Story in TFS and try to sync. If I do it the other way around and create the Story in Team Pulse it works. I set the Iteration to "Accelerator" when creating the Story in TFS.

Hello Ola,
You should definitely see "Accelerator" as the name of your project on the Sync screen (the screenshot you attached).
Could you go to the Area/Iteration Manager under the Requirements tab and attach a screenshot of what you see?
Best wishes,
Greg

Hi,
It's a bit confusing, everywhere in TeamPulse and TFS, the project name is "Accelerator" (in Area/Iteration Manager as well, as the screenshot shows), but the error message still says "Can't find iteration with path Project".

Hi Ola,
Now I understand what is going on. It looks like you found a bug in TeamPulse. The root iteration should be "Project" and not "Accelerator".. Can you open the Area/Iteration Manager, select the root iteration that you have named "Accelerator" and rename it back to "Project" ... then try to create your story in TFS and try to sync? It should work.
It was not intentional to allow users to rename their root iteration as we rely on it being unchanged for specific scenarios.
I have given you some Telerik points for bringing this to our attention.
All the best,
Greg

Hi,
Changing the root name to Project solved my issues. Thank you!
