Hi I recently took the update to the Telerik controls when I was notified in VS2008 that there was one available. After taking the update, however, I no longer get intellisense when I am adding an xmlns reference at the top of a XAML file. Intellisense does still work in the rest of the file, just not when adding a namespace reference. This is mostly an annoyance, but it's still slowing me down. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Dan,
I suppose you are using Silverlight 4 assemblies in a Silverlight 3 application. Check the version of the Telerik assemblies - it should end with 1030 for Silverlight 3 and 1040 for Silverlight 4.

The version for all the referenced assemblies in my project is 2010.1.309.1030.

I just tried to create a new Silverlight 3 application with Visual Studio 2008 and I also have no intellisense on xmlns declarations (I didn't added references to Telerik controls). I also don't have any Telerik RadControls installed, so I don't have Telerik menu item in Visual Studio.
However, I do have Silverlight 4 developer runtime, version 4.0.50401.0 (the RTW) and I suppose it is possible that it is interfering with the VS intellisense somehow.
Best wishes,

Ah that's probably what did it. I had to upgrade to the SL4 runtime to view the latest Telerik demo. I then had to install the SL4 developer runtime to get my debugging back. I'll post on the official silverlight forum. Thanks.

Hi,
Vlad

I don't believe that the issue in this thread was related to Telerik components in any way.
