Hi

I'm having problems installing the testing framework on my virtual machine.

Server:
Windows 2008 R2 Standard - Service pack 1

.NET framework installed:
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Multi-Targeting Pack

I'm getting an error about not having 3.5, but shouldn't that be apart of the 4?

Hello Martin,

You should better install the framework: .NET 3.5 SP1 separately and afterwards proceed with Test Studio installation. You can download it from the following link.

Should you have any additional questions please let us know.

Additional info:
The problem was that for 2008 R2 .NET 3.5 is a feature that you just enable under server features.
