Fiddler only working on http request from my android mobile apps. Fiddler is best more then others software but main problem is that, i can't capture from facebook app. Also play store, instagram and youtube are not capturing. Already i tried using 6-7 android phone, but i was can't capturing.

Admin please try on fiddler using your android phone facebook app. Then you will understand and can solve it.

I am using Lava Iris, Version 7.0, also i tried using lower version on different mobile (but not working).

I am waiting for admin reply and solution. Advance Thanks.

Hi,

Does it capture HTTPS traffic when browsing web pages? If yes, then I would suggest that those apps are using technique called "certificate pinning". Unfortunately, Fiddler cannot do much in this case.

I know it's not related to Fiddler, but is there anyway to get that traffic coming from facebook or instagram app?
Can it be done if I will use some kind of android emulators on PC ?
Can it be done with un-rooted android mobile ? if not, can it be done with a rooted android mobile ?

Hello,

Rather unfortunately, I'm unable to answer those questions.

From technical standpoint if those apps are using certificate pinning then you will have to remove it somehow (I would guess that you will need rooted phone for that). More information can be found on the web. Moreover from Android 7 apps may ignore user-installed certificates. More info on that here.
