Is it possible to access the underlying RichTextBox to add InlineUIContainers as a possible workaround for the lack of hyperlink and image support in the RadRichTextBox like what's being done in the lab at http://channel9.msdn.com/learn/courses/Silverlight4/NewFeatures/RichTextBox/?

Also exposing the .xaml property in the RichTextBox that the RadRichTextBox was implemented on top of would be nice. Is there some way to get to that property without going around the world?

Hello Michael Stewart,

RadRichTextBox is standalone pure Silverlight text editing control and it has not dependency or other relation to the MS RichTextBox control.
We are currently adding support for Images and Hyperlinks and InlineUIContainers and these features will be available in the upcoming Q2 release. Note that in RadRichTextBox you would not need to use InlineUIContainers for basic features like links, images, bullet/numberling lists, even tables (in the near future versions).
As to the Xaml content, currently the only approach is described, as you might have noticed,  in the following forum post:
http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/richtextbox/read-from-a-string.aspx

We have fixed the issues related to writing to stream and the fix will be available in Q1 SP2.

Best wishes,
Mike
