I don't like the default color but I can't find a way to set it; Background property does not affect ocean color (it looks like you were going to do it this way - http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/map/map-background.aspx )

Is there an easier way to do it? I would really hate creating another 100-lines style for such a simple task.

Hi Andrew,

I am not sure I followed you completely.  When referring to "ocean color" do you mean the color of the ocean on the maps shown using Bing or OpenStreet map providers? If this is the case, the Background property does not affect ocean color, because the color of ocean isn't something we can control. It is set on the map tiles provided by Bing or OpenStreet (or someone else).

If you refer to the color which is visible as background when EmptyProvider is in use, then it can be changed using Background property of the RadMap control.

Hi Andrey,

Thanks for the answer, I did not realize it is controlled by OpenStreetMapProvider.
