We are using free  Telerik Testing Framework to do web automation on our side.

The Telerik testing framework require extension to run test in chrome and edge browser.

Now that extension is disabled by chrome and e we can't use that anymore.

Could you please share gow to make my test work without needing browser extension.

Regards

Vinay

Hi Vinay,

The browser extension is not available due to the deprecation of Manifest V2 extension by Chrome. However, Test Studio supports a mode for browser automation which doesn't require extension. It is available for over 2 years already so we don't expect to see any significant difference in the test execution.

For the Testing framework you can set this mode through the web settings - the setting in question is called UseBrowserExtension and you need to set it to false.
