How to move Filter by drag and drop

I am using the default filters in the colums of the GridView. Sometimes, the filter is to big and runs out of the window.
There are some solutions in the forum, which change the size of the filter. I do'nt want to change the size, but is it possible, to move the filters with drag and drop? How can I manage it?

Since FilteringControl utilizes a popup to display, such a scenario has no trivial solution with drag and drop.
