Hi,

From the information provided I guess you want to have both XValue and  YValue shown in a Tooltip . This can easily be done as shown in our Tooltip help topic. Note the way categories and values are displayed in a tooltip per item via binding to DataItem's Quarter and Profit properties.
If you like you may use our TrackBall feature instead. It can display a small popup, similar to the tooltip, in order to provide more detailed information about the closest points to the track ball line's cross section. For more information on how to use it , please review this help topic.

Hi,

Based on your last post I suggest that Location Crosshair is what will meet your requirement. Please note that currently this can be done with RadChart only, cause Annotations and Conversion API (convert from physical pixels to data units and vice versa ) are currently under development and are expected to be released with Q3 2012 (in the mid-October).

If this is not what you need, please send us a sample image demonstrating how would you like your chart to look like with such mouse visual so that we get a better idea of what are you trying to achieve with it.

I want the result is here:https://www.yousendit.com/download/TEhVZHlnUzg1UjZjZDhUQw, the result is better  than tooltip, because When I drap or click the chartarea,I still want to show the (xvalue, yvalue). But tooltip is not display when I click or drag the area, and Location Crosshair  is always show but is far away around the mouse!!

Hi,

As already mentioned in my previous post, you won't be able to achieve this with RadChartView at present. You'll have to wait for our Annotations feature (in the mid-October). Meanwhile you may refer to the other thread started by you on the same topic where my colleague Petar provided a solution based on your requirement with RadChart and Location Crosshairs.

On a side note - please avoid duplicate threads, so that it is easier for both sides to follow the conversation. If you have any further questions on the same topic I would suggest that you ask them in the other thread.
