Our company is evaluating Silverlight 3.0 and your 3.0 beta controls. I downloaded the zipped folder of .dlls and .xmls into folder. There are about 30 - 40 files in the folder. I've read the knowledge base article you have on creating a new tab in the toolbox and adding items, etc. Do I have to add each .dll and .xml one at a time? Don't you have a version of the 3.0 beta tools with an installer?
Thanks,
Ed Hansen

Hello Ed,
Thank you for your interest in our Silverlight suite.
Unfortunately there is no automatic way to register any custom Silverlight control in the current version of Visual Studio. This is a tooling limitation and it will be fixed with VS10.
So currently you need to add the controls manualy in the toolbox - you don't need to add them one by one - just choose the following dlls in order to get all the controls installed in the Toolbox:
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.Scheduler.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.Navigation.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.MediaPlayer.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.Input.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.GridView.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.Gauge.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.Docking.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll
- Telerik.Windows.Controls.Charting.dll
Please let us know if you need more info!
Kind regards,

After I installed the controls on my toolbox I didn't see the CoverFlow, which was the control I was trying to use.
Did I just miss that somehow, or is it still in development for Silverlight 3?

Hello Chuck,
RadCoverFlow is part from the Navigation assembly. Did you added the Navigation assembly to the toolbox?

Yes, I added that component to the toolbar. RadMenu and other items from the navigation namespace appear on my toolbar, but not RadCoverFlow.

We found out that there are some problems with the .Design assemblies and adding the controls to the Toolbox. You can fix the problem by deleting the design subfolder in the <Telerik Controls>\Binaries\Silverlight folder and add the controls in the toolbox again.
Hope this solves the problem.

Thank you. Deleting all of the .Design.DLL files allowed me to add RadCoverFlow -- along with some other items that weren't previously added -- to the toolbox.
