Hello,

I have a bit of a problem that I caused while using Fiddle 4 for home use.

I had Fiddler open and clicked the "Winconfig" button by mistake.

At same time I had an update install on windows and the system restarted with Fiddler open.

Now my Network is screwed up and does not work right as i get no internet.

I reset network in window 10 and that did not fix the issue.

I ran network troubleshooter and that did not fix the issue.

I then opened windows Proxy and saw that manual proxy was turned on and had some weird info in it.

It said the following in address section "http=127.0.0.1:8888;https" and then some other info

Below that it said "<-loopback>"

Now I disabled the manual proxy and got my network back so I can use internet.

But as soon as system restarts the manual proxy is again turned on with same info.

So how do I fix the screwup I assume I caused when I clicked Winconfig in fiddle and then system restarted?

Thanks in advance

Fred

Hey Guys,

Forget about the post above as I got it to work by doing a system restore.

Thanks

Fred
