Header Columns Background Color

Can you please give an example of how to style the header columns?
I can style the background with a

HeaderRowStyle

but the actual header columns get overridden with the default black

Hi Chris,

The header cells are rendered on top of the header row and as a result you will need to style both to achieve the look you like. Attached I am sending you a sample solution which sets a HeaderCellStyle to get you started.
