Grid ClientEvents don't work in jQuery 1.7.1

Took me ages to figure this problem out. I know jQuery 1.6.4 ships with the current release of the Telerik MVC Extensions, but I generally upgrade my project to the latest release of jQuery. Well, I don't know what those fine folks at jQuery have done, but the ClientEvents don't appear to work.

I can attach a project if you want, but it's quite easy to reproduce. Just do a new project, grab jQuery and Telerik from NuGet, and throw up a simple grid. If you're using jQuery 1.7.1, the client events don't appear to fire. If you're using jQuery 1.6.4, they work just fine.

Is this something that can be fixed? My organization uses an internal layout package which is tightly bound to jQuery 1.7.1, so it'd be nice to have this working with that version of jQuery ;-)

I'm having the same problem, for now I'll have to roll back to 1.6.4 but I'd really like to have it working so we can upgrade to the most recent version of jquery.

In short, the latest internal builds (and the upcoming service pack) are compatible with both jQuery 1.6.4 and 1.7.1. For more information, refer to the following thread for the discussion of jQuery 1.7.1 compatibility.
