Give Grid cell background same color as pie slice

I am building a combination chart with a grid on top and pie chart on the bottom.  I would like to match the background of the row header with the background of the cooresponding pie slice.  I checked the threads for any info on getting background colors but all of the posts seem to be a couple years old and the replies made it seem like this might be possible at some point.  I also saw the sales manager dashboard demo and it look like something similar is done there.  Attached is a picture of what I am going for.

You may apply such conditional styling based on underlying property value using StyleSelectors.
I would recommend you to run through our online demos for further reference. 
Can you verify how this works for you?

Setting the background of a grid cell is not an issue for me.  My problem is getting the background color of a pie slice.  Also, my 'grid' is actually just a content control I created that is more like a table than a grid so I am not using telerik's GridView control.  If the user binds the chart palette to a list of brushes then I can just use that list as well but if no palette is supplied then I need to get the list of brushes from the chart itself.  Attached is what I have when palette is supplied.

Hello Jason,

I am not sure that I understand your case correctly. Unfortunately currently there is no programmatic way for getting the default colors of our Pie.

Please let me know which theme you use in your solution and I will send you the 10 default colors.
