Grrrrrr. Well this has happened to me AGAIN, and its happened on more than one occasion... WHAT? Well, I spend a great deal of time fabricating a response to someone's question in the forums with much attention to detail and then click the post button and poof, the response is met with a "page cannot be found" message... in other words, my posted response goes into thin air because something is wrong on Telerik's site where the post should be a post-back and written to the Forum's DB... its not happening. Why does the post seem not be be able to find the page?
It irks me that something so easy is wasting my time and keeping me from helping others in the forums. Telerik, please look into why post are frequently being lost like this... something is definitely wrong here. It sucks that I should have to remember to select all my response text, copy it to the clipboard prior to me sending any response -- just to serve as a safeguard that my post will end up hosed again.
I'm venting here... but please figure out what's going on!. Better yet, why not just implement an auto-save feature that via AJAX, auto-saves responses every 30 seconds until finally being submitted... this would aid in helping circumvent this issue.
Thanks,
-Mark Chipman
P.S. I'm selecting all of the text in this post and copying it to my clipboard just to make sure that my gripe isn't lost into thin air... pretty pathetic huh?
