I am attempting to manually configure Firefox browser as outlined here: http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/getting-started/configure-your-browser/Firefox. The instructions call for installation of Telerik Test Studio Automation and Telerik Test Studio Recorder extensions. I have the first one that I installed a while ago, I do not have the second one. As of this writing I cannot find any Telerik authored extensions through Mozilla Add-on manager. I may be failing at Google-fu but it looks like those extensions are no longer available. What is the status of those extensions? Can you point me to where they are available? Or are there updated instructions?

Also, is there support for Firefox Developer Edition? What configuration do I use to call it my script's default browser?

I was able to get around the first issue by downloading Test Studio and having it automatically calibrate Firefox. It installed the needed extensions. But answer to the question would still be appreciated.

Hello Peter,

Thank you for contacting us.

We do not support Firefox developer edition since it is a beta version of the browser. We support only official versions of the browser.

If you need additional assistance please let us know.

Hello Tan,

In order to be able to execute tests in Chrome and Firefox, you need to download and install our latest execution extensions for these browsers.

For Chrome, please check this documentation article explaining how to download and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

For Firefox, you can download it from here

Let me know if I can further assist you on this.

Hello Plamen,

I have one more question: i want to execute implemented test cases on the machine that has no Test Studio installation. Is it possible?

I tried to use the Test Runner and ArtOfTest.Runner using command line to run on this machine. However, no thing happens next after the browser is opened.

Could you please advise us for this case? Thanks so much!

Hello Tan,

You could execute your test on a machine that has no Test Studio installed only if you have the RunTime version installed. It is paid separately and you can proceed by using this link.

Hope this helps.
