Hey guys,

I was just updating my testing framework to the most recent version (2014.2 618) after Firefox updated onto version 31.0.
Now I can't start Firefox from my usual code. Even Chrome (Version 36.0.1985.125 m) doesn't start anymore. Internet Explorer can be opened successfully.

Does anybody have the same behaviour or even a solution for me?

What i found out until now:
- Firefox downgrade to last know funtional version doesn't lead to successful execution of test
- downgrade of Telerik testing framework to version 2014.1 410 leads to success

--> most recent version of telerik testing framework leads to exceptions while opening browsers

btw. Are there release notes anywhere?

Hello Axel,

Please upgrade to our latest framework version which is 2014.2.718. You can download it from here.

It fully supports the latest FireFox.

Let me know if this helps.

You're right: FF31 opens correctly, but there is an issue with opening websites. This version leads always to "www.localhost" instead of "localhost".

This isn't an official version, is it!?

Hello,

I'd like to ask you for details here - can you please share more about the exact problem you get? Do you get a failure on execution? You can quickly record a short video to demonstrate the problem using Jing for example.

The build my colleague pointed you to is an internal build. You can also download the latest one from your account and give that a go.

http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/internal-builds.aspx

This is close to being promoted as official build in the next two or three weeks. If there is still a compatibility issue with latest Firefox we'd definitely like to isolate and address it in time for the official one.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
