When the application is put into fullscreen mode the user can no longer type into the fields of the filters for the grid. The fields are selectable and the cursor is blinking but, no data is entered while typing.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

I have tested how the filtering control works with the latest binaries (2012.2.912) and I did not encounter any problems typing in the field filters after I maximized the page. May I ask you to confirm what is the version you used?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

All the best,
Didie

I'm running 2012.2.725.1040.

Did you put the application into fullscreen using App.Current.Host.Content.IsFullScreen = true;?

Hello,

Yes, then I pressed F11 to test again. I did not encounter any problems though. Would it be possible for you to isolate the issue in a demo project and send it to us?

I'm unable to reduce my solution size to under 2MB to upload here. And when I click on submit a support ticket the site then becomes unclear on how to open a ticket and attach my solution.

Hello,

May I ask you to test how the attached behaves at your end? This will show if the reason is in your implementation, or in some other setting.

I think this thread is now redudant. I answered this question through another medium on this site. The problem persists even with your attached sample code with the proper Application.Current.Host.Content.IsFullScreen = true implementation.

Hello,

Have you checked the constructor of the application in our attachment? You will find exactly this setting.

Hello,

As an update regarding the reported issue, it seems to be a Silverlight limitation as discussed here. You could find more relevant information on the matter on the Silverlight forums.
