Which is the last version of FiddlerCore which is free for commercial use in a non public application?

    Earlier I downloaded version 2.4.0.1

Is there any newer version which is free for commercial usage? If yes, from where can I download it?

    Hi,

Rather unfortunately, Telerik does not maintain downloadable old versions archive. Fiddler Core is still free for personal use, though. Commercial use requires buying a license.

Unfortunately, version 2.4.0.1 was the last "free" version and it's very buggy. You should definitely consider talking to Telerik about acquiring a commercial license to the latest build.

    I have 2 quetions:

    1. Fiddler Core is still free for personal use?

    2. If i am going to use fiddlercore in programs for myself only - how could i know if i must buy a commercial license or not?

And if i buy a license - is valid for a year only or i can use life-time?

    Hello Ihor,

Recently we decided to discontinue the Educational license in favor of a more traditional Trial license with dedicated technical support for 30-day period (see The Power of Fiddler in Your App, Updated Licensing). The full license agreement is here: End User License Agreement, and the pricing - here: Buy FiddlerCore; but basically, as of now, you can use the trial version only during the 30-day evaluation period.
