trying to update fiddler to current version fails because the file uninst.exe of the previous version is missing. No idea, why.
How can I manually uninstall my current version of Fiddler to enable install of new version?

Torsten

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. In order to remove Fiddler manually, please, follow these steps:
Firstly, uninstall any Fiddler add-ons.
Then, delete the "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Fiddler2" folder.
Make sure Fiddler is removed from the "Programs and Features" list
Open regedit.exe and delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Fiddler2 registry key.
(optional) deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Fiddler2 registry key removes all your Fiddler settings.

Simeon
