We have a small program created for us that we install locally on windows. I don't have access to the code or database.

When I log in, Fiddler detects some traffic, but detects nothing while using the program. It most certainly is posting and fetching data from remote servers. Why would Fiddler not see this traffic?

I know I haven't provided a ton of info but perhaps there are some things I can look out for?

Hello,

Fiddler is a proxy. So, you have to configure your program to use Fiddler as proxy. Then its traffic is going to show up in Fiddler.

Hi,

Thank you. I was never able to get this to work. The program does not have any settings to configure a proxy. It's not my program and I have no access to the code. It's simply a regular windows installed program that sends traffic over the internet. Can Fiddler work here?

Thank you

Hi,

I was never able to get this to work. I simply have a program installed on my Windows computer. There are no proxy settings or anyway for me to modify the code. How can I use Fiddler?

Thank you

If you can't make your program use Fiddler as a proxy then you will not be able to see its traffic in Fiddler.
