Please fix the Fiddler installer. Every update un-installs my previous installation (from the location I selected during initial install), and then, without choice, auto-installs to c:\users\%unsername%\...

The installer should respect the initial installation location, and update in-place.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. Since version 4.6.20172.31233, Fiddler installation is per-user. If there is any old per-machine installation, it would be removed during the installation because the case of having both installations is not supported. This installation does not install on the per-machine location, because it is per-user installation.

However, please, note that if you are updating from an old per-user installation to the latest version, the initial installation location of the per-user installation will be respected.

Regards,
Simeon
