Fail to test deploy xap to connected Win Phone 8.1

I created an AppBuilder blank javascript app in Visual Studio 2013 with a newly installed Telerik AppBuilder VSIX. When I run it in the simulator it works as expected. But I fail when I try to deploy to my connected Windows Phone 8.1.

If I try the Build App and Deploy tool I get an error message on deploy saying "the parameter is incorrect".
Failed to deploy application {a1cb8202-9c39-4647-a041-f0fe961286af} to Device: The parameter is incorrect.

If I Build the App with the Build tool I get an XAP. When I try to deploy that using Win 8.1 SDK I get an error message saying "fix capabilities settings". (Which I think is because cordova currently only supports v8.0?)

If I deploy the XAP using Win 8.0 SDK I get another error message saying "Error - The parameter is incorrect."

Also - when I try to run the TelerikCompanyHubApp (AET) from url on my phone I get a question to "add" it, but after I click "add" nothing seems to happen and I get back to the browser page with the downloaded aetx.

I can run the application with the AppBuilder companion app.

Ok, I tried it on another computer and it worked as expected - so I will try to reinstall VS and the extension on the first one.

Hello Jonas,

I am happy to see that you managed to deploy your app. Please note that at the moment we don't officially support Windows Phone 8.1 as at the moment AppBuilder doesn't support Cordova 3.6. However, there shouldn't be any issues deploying your app on such a device, the lack of support may only cause unavailability of certain plugin functionality.

Also, we will do our best to upgrade the Cordova version for the AppBuilder 2.7 release which should be out at the end of the year. Once Cordova 3.6 is available within AppBuilder, you can take full advantage of its support for Windows Phone 8.1.
