I'm using your RichTextBox control for my editor. I save editor content to .docx extension. When I open saved file by OpenOffice Writer, I get error "General error. General input/output error."
This error also happen with your demo.
OpenOffice is very popular in my place so this is a serious error. Can you can fix this error in next internal build?
And why you support .docx and not .doc? A lot of my clients still use .doc for documents.
PS: I'm using OpenOffice 3.3 and Telerik control for Silverlight Q3 2011 1116.

Thank you for this post. We will do our best to fix this error for the upcoming 2011 Q3 SP1 or 2012 Q1 at latest.
About .doc support, unfortunately it is an old, binary and proprietary to Microsoft format with no open specification (for example .docx is an XML-based standardized open format). We are considering introducing .doc support, but it's quite widely used and supporting it would be far from trivial. Therefore, the feature has not been scheduled yet and it is not clear if and when it will be implemented.
