Upgrading to the SIlverlight 4 controls resulted in an error for me:

Failed to create a 'System.Windows.DependencyProperty' from the text 'animation:AnimationManager.AnimationSelector'. [Line: 6 Position: 34]

So far I am only referencing Telerik.Windows.Controls and Telerik.Windows.Controls.Input. Is there another Silverlight 4 reference I need to add?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Could you verify that the version of all Telerik assemblies in your application is 2010.1.422.1040? Also the Silverlight 4 runtime version (right click on the application area in the browser) should be 4.0.50401.0.

Kind regards,

I get the same exception as posted in this thread. I am using the 422 assemblies but my silverlight runtime is 4.0.50303.0.
I downloaded the SL4 Toolkit via the Microsoft Web Platform Updater and it confirms that this is the latest available release.
Could you please tell me where to get the updated version?

Hi Simon,

This should install the latest runtime, tools, RIA services and SDK:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bf5ab940-c011-4bd1-ad98-da671e491009&displaylang=en

I don't know why the Web Platform Installer does not detect the new Silverlight version.

I have a confirmation that updating the Silverlight runtime to 4.0.50401 resolves the Failed to create a 'System.Windows.DependencyProperty' from the text 'animation:AnimationManager.AnimationSelector' exception. You might need to clear your browser cache, though.

Hi,

I've looked everywhere but I can't find the 2010 Silverlight 4 controls you speak of. Where can I download them??
