Dragging and reordering Tileview items shift instead of swap

Hello I am looking for a way to implement an item shift instead of a swap, so that when a user drags a tile over rows the items don't swap indexes but rather the source takes the destination's index and everything before it shifts down by one. I am looking to get this to behave with the preview/drag so that the user gets instant feed back of the collection. So looking for a DragMode = SlideWithShift. I prepared an image for the visual thinkers. Thanks in advance for any code and workarounds to achieve this.
