Hi Abdulmenan,
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem!
This seems to be a very unusual issue. Could you please provide a video demonstrating the problem - this would be really helpful when trying to analyze it. Jing is a great piece of software for recording and sharing desktop videos.

Hope to hear from you!

Hi,

Hope the attached picture descibes the issue. i have clicked the hover over button and move the cursor around I am not seeing the rectangle which selects the element.( it is not working or behaving as expected, it was working for me in the trial edition) . but when i click and enter data. all steps are captured, as you can see on the left( visual studio).
on the right side as you can see the dom explorer is empty and  buzy.

I have uninstalled your software and installed it multiple times(no change) . also I rest my IE, thinking if it is releated to setting.

I am not getting replay from you guys. I have recorded the scenario using camStudio in .avi format. but the size is larger that 10MB(your  max limit)
I can send it to your email or give me a link to upload the file

Hi Abdulmenan,
I apologize for the late reply!

In your screenshot I can see that you've set IE's zoom level to 95%. Zoom levels different from the default 100% are known to cause issues. Please check out this article:

http://www.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools/support/kb/troubleshooting/hover-over-highlighting-is-misaligned-in-recorder-when-selecting-html-dom-elements.aspx

However, a zoom level of 95% should cause you to not see the highlighting at all.

I've sent you an e-mail - please attach the your video to your response.

Hope to hear from you soon!

All the best,
Stoich

Hello Abdulmenan,
after reviewing your videos I was able to confirm the problem.

There are a couple of things I would like you to try:

1)      1) Please try to use the Highlighting tool from the “Diagnose Recorder”. You can find the “Diagnose Recorder” in the “Record” drop-down (screenshot 1). The “Diagnose Recoder” will bring up a diagnostic log file which will monitor and record your actions. Try using the highlighting and give me the contents of the diagnostic log – it might help with analyzing the issue.

2)     2) Make sure the Translators have been loaded. Open the UserSettings and click on Translators. You should be able to see the translators (screenshot 2)

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Stoil,

Thanks for the quick replay.

1)
here I have attached the diagnose recorder log.( I have tried  to use the highlight on the Google home page and also after I search for telerik keyword) at last I have tried to open the dom explorer.

2)   checked the translators, all are checked.

Hi DeAnna,

Thank you for the log. I took a look at it but didn't see anything obviously wrong. I'm going to have a couple more people review the log as well.

So are you saying that recording does seem to work just fine, it's just the highlighting is not working properly? Which version of IE are you using? We have a known incompatibility if you're using IE7 and the IE developer toolbar as documented in this KB article.

Kind regards,
Cody

Hello DeAnna,

Please use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer. This version should launch by default when launching a new recording browser. Ensure you are not connecting to an existing instance of IE 64-bit.
