Hello,
Is there a way to display text in an empty dropdownlist that could later be loaded with values using DataBinding(AJax.Select)?
The reason I ask is because I just want to display an item, but not have to populate the list (requires database calls). This would be happening on every page load, so if I could just display the an item without having to load the list would be most desirable.
