I followed the "Debugging on iOS and Android with Fiddler Everywhere" guide and got everything working just fine on my pc and my android devices, but when trying to add an iPad or iPhone to the network after configuring the proxy. I can ping the iPad, but not the iPhone. I'm using a Windows PC to to run Fiddler Everywhere. Any ideas why this could be?

Let me clarify - "I followed the "Debugging on iOS and Android with Fiddler Everywhere" guide and got everything working just fine on my pc and my android devices, but when trying to add an iPad or iPhone after configuring the proxy on the device I don't have internet access and I get a message in Safari saying "Connection isn't secured" and can't load any web pages.

Hello John,

Could you clarify the following:

- After settings, the Fiddler proxy on the iOS device, Is the Fiddler Everywhere echo service accessible (the 6th step)?

- If you could access the echo service and successfully download the Fiddler certificate, that would mean that Fiddler can access the device. In that case, verify that you have executed the last two steps from the documentation instructions (the 8th and 9th steps).

That said, if the issue is with the certificate not being installed and fully trusted, then you could test if a none-secure page is being captured (e.g., http://example.com).

- Are you able to capture traffic from the iPad (which can be ping-ed). If so, then the issue is entirely related to the iPhone not being accessible on the network. Check your Firewall configuration and iPhone settings for restrictive rules.

Alternatively, you could also check some of the suggestions provided in this blog post.
