Hi telerik,

I'd like to know what kind of newsletter engine you use for the monthly newsletters?
If it is custom build, well, ... hopefully it will be available in Sitefinity! :)

I am using VS 2008 trying to access SQL server 2005.  When trying to setup a database connection using the "configure Data Source" from with the control,  I get the following message:

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependecies.  The system cannot find the file specified.

It seems that this used to work before installing the Telerik controls or maybe it's just been a while since I've done this.  Thanks for any help.

Something that has bugged me since I started using Telerik controls a year or so ago is the email notifications of forum threads. They are horrible. The formatting is impossible to decipher, they include escaped HTML characters (such as  ) and are overall hard to use. I am using Google Chrome by the way.

What strikes me as odd about this is that everything else from Telerik I see has a sleek and well crafted UI. This is such a glaring exception. Couldn't these emails be cleaned up considerably with a little html?

Am I the only one that see's this?

We are migrating a MS Access application for a small business customer.  Clients, inventory, invoices, purchase orders...etc

We want to build a rich web application around the data.  This application will not look or feel like a web page.  There will be no page reloads as it loads data.  The user will not pass from screen to screen like a web page.  It will be much more like an application.

The Telerik controls seem well suited to develop this sort of application.  We are looking for someone to help with the construction of the UI and it's framework in .NET and to work closely with the other developers to help build the screens.

The business is located in Philadelphia, PA, USA.  Local talent will be given a priority.  Professional individuals only.

Please contact me: mg14399@grant.org

Are you a top noch programmer?  Do you know Telerik controls and Sitefinity by the back of your hand?  Are you available for some contract work, up to 40+ hours a week?

I'm looking for an expert in ASP.NET Web development with heavy understanding of the full suite of Telerik RAD AJAX controls.  Please send me an email at ataylor@maxfurniture.com if you are interested.
