Clear date button inside datepicker

Hello!
I want to have a small x button inside the date control where the user can clear the current date entry.
(similar to the clearbutton on your maskedinput control)
how to achieve this with an mvvm structure?

Hello Fredrik,

In order to achieve the desired scenario you would need to edit the DateTimePicker default Template and to insert a button inside which will clear the selected date. We have attached a sample project demonstrating the exact approach, please note that we are using Implicit Styles to style the DateTimePicker.
