I'm new to KendoUI and trying to get some suggestion for testing tool to choose.  We are java and APEX(Salesforce) shop and use Eclipse as an IDE.  I've heard about Mocha and Jasmine but looking for a feedback

Hi,

Our colleagues from KendoUI team are using Test Studio for automating the widgets. It has advanced recording and playback, which are essential for high productivity.

If you are looking for free framework though I suggest trying the Testing Framework, which is the base of Test Studio and is powerful in automating the web apps in the browser, supporting IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. It includes the so called "control wrappers" providing rich API to automate the KendoUI widgets. Check the API reference for Telerik.TestingFramework.Controls.KendoUI namespace.

Another option I'd look at is the brand new Mobile Testing, which will let you run tests out of Windows as well. Mr. Shoemate has a good introduction post on the blogs I'd recommend to start with.

I hope this info helps!
