I'm wondering why Fiddler does not capture all HTTP request. When I record with Wireshark, it shows up 2 HTTP request from www.xyz.com, but on Fiddler only shows the first request. Thank you.

Hello,

Well Fiddler is a proxy so the process(es) that make these requests should respect the WinINET proxy settings or they should be manually configured to use the Fiddler process as a proxy. Wireshark on the other hand works directly with the network interfaces and thus it is able to catch more traffic without any preliminary setup.

In that case, can you tell me how to configure Fidder to capture all the trafic, just like Wireshark?

Hello,

Rather unfortunately, it goes the other way around. You have to configure your apps to route their traffic through Fiddler. You can't configure Fiddler to capture traffic.

Hi,

Can you configure your app to use a proxy? If so, follow the same steps but use Fiddler for proxy (by default Fiddler runs at 127.0.0.1:8888) .

Can you show me how to change that? Or if there is anyway to config Fiddler to listen to specific proxy?

Hello,

I can't really help you with configuring your app to use proxy. This configuration depends on the app and may vary greatly.
