While I was using Eclypse and VSnomad, I always used 'navigator.notification.alert()' to show an alert in my app. This seems not to work in Icenium where I have to use just the 'alert()'.
I thought that 'navigator.notification.alert();' was typically needed for Phonegap. Am I wrong?

I have just created a blank project which uses 'navigator.notification.alert();' API and have tested on both iOS and Android and everything works as expected. Can you share more details what is the exact scenario that this does not work?
