Microsoft.mshtml.dll missing on computer

Hello Telerik,

Recently I have set up a new environment for test automation (installed Windows 7, .NET run-time, Telerik testing framework). When I tried to run my automated tests, they failed. I dug deeper and found out that Telerik testing framework doesn't work without Microsoft.mshtml.dll library. I copied it to the automated tests folder, and it worked. However, the speed of test execution is ridiculously slow. I can assume that this is somehow connected with the framework and that the library hasn't actually installed in the system.

Can you help me to resolve this issue? Thank you.

Hello Stanislav,

This shouldn't be connected with the speed of execution. However you can download the microsoft.mshtml.dll from here and install it in the GAC (so you don't need to include it in your test) and see if that would make any difference.

Hi Vincent,

Thank you for reaching us out. 

The mentioned dll is indirectly referred from some of the Test Studio processes and it couldn't be defined as a prerequisite. Is there any issue you are facing? Could I be helpful with anything further?
