JustDecompile Error

I have installed and ran the JustDecompile file and when it goes to open this error shows up:

I am not the average computer person so I wanted to know what this meant and if there is a quick fix for this error.

Thank you for contacting us!

 The error that you have encountered is due to connectivity issue. Could you check with you network administrator and ensure that connectivity to www.telerik.com is not blocked for some reason?

If the connectivity issue remains then I would suggest you to use the offline msi installer packages. You can download them through your Telerik account under the "Products and Subscriptions" section. You can also find urls for ease on the dialog that you have sent us.

Petar,

The network connectivity is not blocked.

I installed the offline msi package and just decompile was installed on my computer, but when I click on the shortcut the program runs for a few seconds then does nothing. I uninstalled and re-installed and the same thing happened. I then tried to download it again. It recognized that the software was already installed and needed repairs so I clicked repair and nothing happened again when I ran the program. Are there some requirements that are needed for this to be fully installed? Or do you have any links I can go to that might help.

I'm sorry for the caused inconvenience.

In regard of the issue that JustDecompile is not running, can you please try to wipe all JustDecompile settings out and then try to run the tool again? All settings can be found here: %AppData%\JustDecompile (please delete everything in this folder).

If the suggested solution above doesn't work for you, please uninstall JustDecompile, delete all settings as described above, and then try to install JustDecompile using the MSI file again.

Please let us know if you still have issues running JustDecompile.

Yes I did that and there was nothing in that folder.

When I went to the offline installer, the program was installed. When trying to open the shortcut or the icon in the start menu nothing happened. I then tried to troubleshoot the compatibility the error showed up as incompatible application.

Could you please send me any instructions or links that could install this application onto Windows 7 64-bit OS. Thanks

Hello,

It looks like something really weird happens on your side. So let's do a quick recap. Please, install JustDecompile and send over:

- a list of the contents of your %AppData%\JustDecompile folder.
- a list of the contents of your Program Files\Telerik\JustDecompile folder.

Then try starting JustDecompile by double clicking on JustDecompile.exe in Program Files\Telerik\JustDecompile\Libraries. Then check out what is in your %AppData%\JustDecompile folder again.
