How to read source URI to specified image in WPF.Image element?

Hello Telerik,

Snoop application provides possibility to see the value of the 'Source' property of Image WPF element. Based on this value I can identify which exactly image is displayed based on the file name. When I try to get an access to .Source property of ...Wpf.Image element, I get the following exception:

Unable to cast object of type 'ArtOfTest.WebAii.Controls.Xaml.Wpf.BitmapFrameDecode' to type 'ArtOfTest.WebAii.Controls.Xaml.Wpf.ImageSource'.

I want to have possibility to read file name of the displayed image in WPF application.

A support subscription to our Testing Framework provides access to our fanatical support team and easy to use ticketing system with a 24 hour guaranteed response time. The subscription does not guarantee defects being prioritized or fixed, however by nature of working with a support engineer to pinpoint a defect, it is likely to be logged and reviewed for possible inclusion in a future release in a more expedited fashion.

Yes, we've migrated our PITS database to our new Feedback portal. Regarding the bug, unfortunately I wasn't able to find a workaround for this, so I hope that our developers will be able to fix it soon.

Hi,

can anyone help to understand how Source works? The issue is marked as resolved, but I cannot get image path from the source. There is no exception anymore, but " ArtOfTest.WebAii.Controls.Xaml..ImageSource {ArtOfTest.WebAii.Controls.Xaml..BitmapFrameDecode}" as a found Image.Source doesn't tell anything.

Unfortunately Test Studio does not expose the image source in WPF application, we have logged this recently at this public URL.
