Hello

I can see the way to change my horizontal and vertical grid-lines in the chartarea here:
http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radchart-styling-and-appearance-styling-chart-series.html

My question is, how can I change the spacing between lines? It seems that there are between 4 and 7 points per gridline based on how large i make it, on a dataset of roughly 72 points.

Is there a setting to change the spacing so that intersecting X and Y gridlines do not form squares?

Please let me know if this is not clear enough - i want my gridlines further apart, basically :)

Thank you,

Chimp

Hi,

RadChart will draw a gridline for each major tick in both axes and the ticks are automatically placed by RadChart. You can disable the automatic calculation for any axis by setting the AutoRange property to false and use your own values for MinValue, MaxValue and Step (or call the AddRange method). This way you can configure the number of ticks for an axis and consequently - the number of the gridlines shown.

Is there a way to use AutoRange = true and just be able to set the step? I require to have n X n grids (major grid-lines on both the axes) on my chartarea for whatever the range the chart is currently having. Please let me know how to do that.

Hi Angshuman,

I am afraid this is not possible in RadChart. You can either leave the entire range/step calculation to the chart or take full manual control by setting AutoRange to false and set your own values for min, max and step.
