Hello, it seems like there are a few ways to configure fiddler to chain to an upstream proxy, but none of the instructions i found mentioned what to do when you are using a setup script for the proxy. Is there a way to still configure fiddler to chain to the upstream proxy in this case?

Hello Patrick,

You should be able to use Fiddler with PAC script by default. As the system uses the PAC script to configure the upstream proxy, Fiddler should detect that and automatically chain to that proxy (when capturing is on) when it is set to act as a system proxy.

Unfortunately, it is not capturing when fiddler is set to act as a system proxy. I don't know if this is perhaps due to the fact that our proxy software (forcepoint one endpoint) includes an application that is installed on the computer as well. I am contacting their support about this also.
