Automating tabstops

Hello,

I am working on programmatically automating tabstops in radgrid.Can you please give me some idea to accomplish the same.

In Real scenario, when the user clicks on right arrow, the grid cell focus should be moved to next cell, which is the usual scenario that we perform in an excel or any other grid pattern. The same functionality should  be automated with TestStudio. I have checked couple of links..but still need more information…

Hi Abi,

I don't really understand the problem you're trying to solve. First, the link you posted takes me to RadControls for WinForms. Test Studio cannot be used to automate WinForms applications. You state you want to automate RadGrid, but I need some clarification on what actions exactly do you want Test Studio to perform.

My application is having an embedded radgrid view,i need to automate tab stops.When the user clicks on the tab,the focus of cell0,0 should be moved to cell 0,1,and cell 0,2 and so on..

Can you help me how we can automate the same with Telirik Test Studio..

Hello Abi,

I apologize for the delay getting back to you.

The standard RadGrid for ASP.NET does not include tabs. I need to be able to see and work with your application before I can assist with your automation problem. Is there anyway I can get direct access to your application? If not can we setup a GoToMeeting where you can show me your application and I can figure out how to automate it?
