• Multi-level Menu Items

  Telerik Silverlight ContextMenu supports hierarchy.  You can build any levels of menu items as needed to achieve the navigation you’d like.

  You can bind the menu to hierarchical Object Data to build its itemshierarchy as well as bind it to an XML data. Also, you can use WCFservices to populate the menu.

  Let the child menu groups open only upon clicking a first-level item thus achieving the behavior of windows-like menus.

  You can control any property of Telerik Silverlight Menu at runtime to easily create or manage flexible menus on the fly.

  Let the users check/uncheck items and manage the collection of the checked items. Using the corresponding events you can entirely handle the check/uncheck action.

• Styling and Appearance

  The Silverlight ContextMenu control by Telerik can be fully customized using Expression Blend. There are also several pre-defined themes that can be used to style the menu control.

• Boundary Detection

  Telerik Silverlight Menu detects the Silverlight plug-in boundaries and opens its child item-groups  in the opposite direction when the screen boundaries are to be crossed. When there is not enough space in both directions, the control will adjust its items’ position in order to make them visible whenever possible.

  To help your code become even more elegant and concise, we implemented Enhanced Routed Events Framework for RadControls for Silverlight.  This gives you more freedom when you design your applications since you can write instance handlers as well as class handlers for the routed events of our controls.

  Now you can build tests for RadContextMenu with Telerik Free Testing Framework. Our testing tool helps developers build automated unit tests, functional tests and end to end scenario tests for both AJAX- and Silverlight-powered applications.
