Good Day.

We have been using telerik components for sometime now.
We have purchased the premium collection and want to maximize its use.

We are using the Telerik Reporting for our reporting purposes. Our problem is its designer. Our clients want to design their own Reports but as what i've seen in the forum, your product does not have an User Designer.

Is there another way of designing the Report without using the Visual Studio?
If you are Going to make the End-user Designer, could you give a specific month and year when you can release it?
(We want to know the specific date of the release of the End-User Designer so that we can decide wether to include it in our development or not )

Hi Erwin,

You are correct - we currently don’t have a stand-alone/end user report designer. This is in our TODO list of features and once we start working on it, the Reporting RoadMap would be updated accordingly.

We cannot engage with a timeframe for this feature as we first need to implement several other features as basis for it and not all have been researched upon yet, thus we cannot make estimates how long that would take.

We recommend keeping an eye on the RoadMap prior a release to see what we're aiming for certain Q.

I recently asked this and Telerik said that an end-user designer will not be in Q2.

I found stimulsoft support the end-designer ,but i have purchase telerik other controls,so I want to purchase the telerik silverlight reporting,But I must use the end-designer. Now It's hard to decide to chose stimulsoft or teleric reporting

I noticed that since 2008 you say to supervise RoadMap but however at the day of today, always anything!

Did you really envisage to do it one days?

Hi Telerik,

I have recently started using your reporting functionality.I must add nothing at this stage
will make me want to change from Telerik, though management has asked me about a
End-User designer. At their level this might very well be a deal breaker.

Are there any updates regarding this matter?

Thanks for the reply. That estimate on timing would fit in well with our intended release date.
I will be happy to report back with that. Please tell the team, I say a BIG thanks for the fantastic product.

Any update on the End User Design/ad hoc reports? I have been waiting of this for a long time. I am in the process of switching to Stimusoft for my company. Why is there no roadmap for Telerik Reporting?

Looking at the reporting roadmap I see that the end user report designer is supposed to be available in mid February, is there a preview version? I checked with my company account (premium collection for .net) but I couldn't find any beta or nightly build.
Is there a way to try the new report designer before the official release? I'd be glad to do some beta testing.
