We have released a new version of Telerik Reporting today, 2024 Q1 (18.0.24.130). Please update your existing installation at your earliest convenience.

You can review the Legacy Installer Vulnerability - Telerik Reporting article to learn more details about why we are recommending customers to update.

To get the new version, take the following steps:

1. Go to Downloads | Your Account. 
2. Select Telerik Reporting.
3. Download the msi installer file, run it, and follow the steps to completion.

Notes

As the KB article explains, the issue pertained only to the old installer component, and not Telerik Reporting contained within the installation package. It does not affect any applications you’re using Telerik Reporting with.

If you have a rare situation where you cannot update the PC installed version, there are various ways to keep a project using an older version of reporting even though the PC has a newer version installed.

• NuGet Option: Update your projects to use the Telerik Reporting NuGet packages, instead of local DLLs (see https://docs.telerik.com/reporting/getting-started/installation/installation-approaches#using-nuget-packages).

• Copied Assemblies Option: Copy the older version’s DLLs to the project directory, then update the project references to use the copied assemblies (instead of the assemblies in C:/Program files (x86)/Progress/Telerik Reporting [older version]/)

I am new to forum. Currently we have all our reports done in SSRS. I am facing a problem when i try to ajaxify my application with RadAjaxmanager. As SSRS report viewer control inside an update panel or infact any ajax framework would have many javascript errors.

So, can we bind SSRS server reports to Telerik ReportViewer control?
it would be really great sharing ideas if any one has done anything like this.

We have a requirement to create a report using the "Standalone Report Designer". We just want to open the standalone reporting tool from our desktop application at a button click and allow user to create their own reports. For that we have to pass the content of the report from the desktop application to the standalone tool. We tried to pass the argument in "Process.Start" Method. But we got an error message as in the attached image. 

Could you please help us to work on the standalone Report Designer tool with  C# WPF desktop application?

We want to know how the below items will be work.
1) How to open the standalone report designer programmatically (C#)?
2) How to pass the content from C# to the tool?

Is it possible to adjust the line spacing in the textbox when the line wraps?

I'm trying to build a custom report generator using the web report designer. all the data sources will be web service data sources.

now I need to impose restrictions for using the already created data sources/reports based on the logged-in user privileges.

1. How can I restrict some users from using certain Shared Data sources or accessing specific reports that are created based on their user rights? 

2. how can I get a list of all the web service data sources created programmatically?

 

 

 

Im getting an "Error creating report document" error when trying to load the report on the published site.. it works just perfectly in local.

i would like to know what should i do in order to get this issue solved.

I am trying to create an Invoice with columns for quantity, price and amount. It should also have a summary at the bottom of the page. The columns should have a border and stretch all the way down to the summary (see attached picture). Is there any way to say that a section should fill out the remaining space of a page?
So far I solved this by summarize the height of each section and calculate the remaining space on the page and setting the result to the height of a group footer (see the green area on the report). But this solution does not work when a textbox can grow since there seems to be no way to get the rendered height of a textbox.

While developing an endpoint (.NET 6 API) to export a PDF from a TRDX file ( no problems here ) I decided to publish to the test environment.

I keep getting this error :

I'm trying to run the DatabaseCacheConfigurator.exe, select a PostgreSQL target backend, and create schema. I first ran into an issue where the Npgsql database provider was "not installed properly". I seem to have resolved that by installing what appears to be the last version of the Npgsql MSI (GAC) provider version 4.1.8.

This gets me past the not "installed properly" message, but now I receive the following:

Database driver installation problem: Cannot use factory for PostgreSql. Could not load type 'NpgsqlTypes.NpgsqlTimeZone' from assembly 'Npgsql, version=4.1.8.0.....

Hi, I need to create a report that contains a list component. In this list I added some header information and then a table with binding data. After the table there are various textboxes. After these I have a panel which is basically my second page with static data. The first page may grow due to the table.
I need the textboxes after the table to always go to the bottom of the page. Is this possible?
I already tried with Report Book separating first part and panel with static part, but it can't alternate reports. Maybe with PageFooter? In this case I don't know how to conditionally show it only after the first part and hide after panel with static page.
