  I need to use the resources locally so i've set UseEmbeddedScripts to false but the images still loads from the assembly resource. How can I disable that?

  You need to disable the embedded skins as well.

  Thanks for the reply. We've found that the apache reverse proxy didn't route the requests to WebResource.axd correctly. That part works now but now the proxy can't route ajax requests to the correct path but to the proxy root.
