Hello, I just watched the Explicit Waits with AJAX: Drop-down Lists tutorial video and some of the steps taken cannot be replicated as I have different options than what I see demonstrated. I need to know what the equivalent would be for the version of Test Studio I am using.
I am running the test using IE and when I select an item from my first drop down menu, the tutorial stated to select "Wait - text content", but that is not one of my options. Would I need to select "Wait - selection 'Text' is '...' "?
Also, the tutorial then says to expand that wait step and key in a value from the drop down menu in the ExpectedString field, but I don't have that option either. What is the equivalent to ExpectedString?
Please see attached for specifics. Thanks!

Hello Vickie,

The difference comes from the fact the in the video we are using Chrome for recording the Wait step and you are using Internet Explorer.

In order to create the same wait step in Internet Explorer you should use Advance verification option. Create a verification and then just change its role to wait.

Please see this video for a demonstration.

Hope this helps.
