We are happy to announce that we have just released the new version of our agile project management tool TeamPulse. With it we are introducing some great new features that make release planning and work item management as simple as possible. In R2 2011 you will also find a number of functionalities that will improve team collaboration and help you focus on what’s most important. Let’s take a quick look.

Backlog Management

The new Backlog management feature lets you view and organize all work items, like user stories, bugs, issues, and risks from a single place. In this view you can also edit work item details as well as prioritize using drag-and-drop.

Email Notifications

TeamPulse now allows users to subscribe to any work item and receive email alerts whenever that item is updated. You can choose among different options to specify which work items you want to receive updates for.

Shared Views

With this new feature you can filter, sort or group the data you wish to see and save that view, so you can share it with others. For example, when a new person joins the team you can immediately share the data as you see it using the shared views and quickly bring him up to speed.

Tags

Now you can label your user stories, bugs, issues and risks to add an extra level of organization.

Comments

The new version allows you to leave comments on user stories, bugs, issues and risks.
