It has been a
long time
coming, but the time has finally arrived for the release of RadInput2.0. As I said waaay back in November of 2006, RadInput 2.0 will ship with a few new textboxes for validating specific data types:

RadTextbox
- skinnable textbox, accepts all characters

RadNumericTextbox
- three modes: currency, percentage, and number
-
RadMaskedTextbox
- pattern based data mask
-
RadDateInput
- validates date input
Also new to RadInput 2.0 are features like spinner buttons for the NumericTextbox, automatic validation message positioning, and a new client-side event for DateInput to handle invalid or out of range values. But a picture is worth a thousand words and a screencast is worth ten-thousand words, so I'll let the following screencast do the rest of the talking:
