Trying to run UI for Winforms examples for a user and we have the store locked down. When I run it on the machine I get a popup stating it wants to run this

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Telerik.TelerikUIFormsExamples_202...\windowsstorelauncher.exe

Network location cannot be reached.

 

Does it require the store to be enabled? This is after install and just trying to run it. Yes, we can install it without issues.

I am not quite sure what this popup appears on your side. Also from the ticket it is not clear if an error appears or a popup that wants to run the mentioned exe file. Can you elaborate more on this? You can send me an image of the described behavior. Also, does your machine have internet or not? Any additional details will be highly appreciated.

In addition, you could use QsfAsExe. You can download the file using this link: https://telerik-winforms-demos.s3.amazonaws.com/TelerikWinFormsExamplesLauncher.exe This will download the TelerikWinFormsExamplesLauncher.exe. When you run it the following popup will appear:

You can specify your folder and click the extract button. This will download all demos in the specified folder. When the extraction is done, click on the Open Demo button. At a later stage, you can run the TelerikExamples.exe file in the following location.

{your location folder}\Telerik UI for WinForms demos\Examples\bin\TelerikExamples.exe.

Sorry, yes it throws a popup, I have attached it here. Yes, the machine does have internet, through a proxy service. After the install from the store and we click on the Launch button it brings that popup up after about 3-5min. If we run it from the start menu it just does nothing. I will see if the example download you presented will work for the user.

Probably the error comes from using a proxy service for the internet. Give the suggested approach in my previous reply and let me know how it goes. I hope that you will be able to run our demos.
